Can you provide any more information on what the user is entering incorrectly when they get a 402 error?

Unfortunately not. The full text of the 402 error is:-

"We could not connect to your bank because your username and/or password were reported to be incorrect. Please re-verify your username and password and try again". 

Since the user has not been able to log into their bank account, we do not have any further details on the incorrect information entered. 

We would recommend that you first contact the user to ask them to login to their bank account directly. This will confirm whether or not they are using the correct bank login credentials.

If the user is still having problems with verification, please ask them what URL they use to login to their bank. Submit a request to us, include this URL, and we will investigate.
