How can I match the DirectIDUID to our internal customer references?

The user of the DirectID widget can be matched to your internal records using the data found in an e-mail or API hook.

The Email Success Hook will send you an email when a customer successfully completes the process. You can then login to the Dashboard and download their transactions. To enable this feature, please lodge a Support Request. Once you have provided us with a valid email address, we will send you an email every time a user verifies.

The API hook will call an endpoint on your backend system and send your User ID as well as a unique Transaction Reference every time a user is successfully verified.  You will need to use the Transaction Reference to access the user’s transactions.  Your developers can set the User ID your system assigns as a unique value to help your team connect the Transaction ID with other records.
