Over the years, Capital One has acquired several other banks. As a result, Capital One users may have to log in through the Widget multiple times to submit all their Capital One information.
As an example, a user opened a Capital One account and two ING Direct accounts before the banks merged. After the merger, they added a fourth sub account. These accounts are all visible to the user through the same Capital One 360 login online. However, using the Widget to transfer their data with ‘Capital One 360 (US)’ as the selected bank only returns the ING accounts and the account opened after the merger. To submit the information from the Capital One account that existed before the merger, the user will have to run the widget with ‘Capital One (US)’ as the selected bank.
