Bank login processes may include four different types of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
For some types of MFA, the answers can be learned to enable data refresh.
Types of MFA

Multi-level MFA varies by bank. If this is a series of questions, the answers are learned. If the multi-level MFA includes a token ID or CAPTCHA, the answers cannot be reused.
Examples
Here are two examples of how banks work with Login Reconnect.
121 Financial CU: Security question type
The user logs in by answering security questions. The answers are learned as the user connects via Login Reconnect. If the account has three questions, the system needs to learn all three answers to guarantee a connection. The user may need to go through Login Reconnect more than three times until all questions appear.
Bank of Akron: Image type
The login process includes an image. The answers cannot be learned, even if the user connects via Login Reconnect. The user can still use Login Reconnect to retrieve the most current transactions, but they need to go through MFA every time.
