Put simply, both panels are actually showing slightly different information.
The Conversion Funnel panel is designed to count all users who have been through the Widget during the previous 30 days by adding up all unique DirectIDUID's that have been generated in that time.
This means that every time a person selects a bank and attempts to log in, he/she is counted as a unique user.
- Note: where a user picks a bank by mistake (e.g. Barclays U.S.) and then picks the correct bank (e.g. Barclays UK), there is only a single DirectIDUID generated and the user will only be counted as one attempt.
The Success Rates by Bank panel is designed to count all users who have been through the Widget during the previous 28 days but does so by adding up every time a user types in a bank and clicks select.
- Note: where a user picks a bank by mistake (e.g. Barclays U.S.), attempts to login, receives an error message and then picks the correct bank (e.g. Barclays UK), the panel will count this as two attempts.
If you still have questions around this, please get in touch by raising a Support Request - and, as ever, if there's a panel that would be more valuable to you in terms of analysing the conversion of your users, we'd love to know.
